"Jump to the Music" will be featured as the "Bluesbreaker" best song of the week on the nationally syndicated House of Blues Radio Hour, hosted by Dan Ackroyd, on July 31st! The show is dedicated to Ray Charles.

Living Blues Charts, NYC. Fox NEWS, NPR
"Homeland" enters the Living Blues Radio Charts at #6 this month and continues to garner great reviews. Henry will be taping a segment for NPR Weekend Edition during July that will air later in the month. On his next visit to NYC, he will be doing segments w/ Fox and Friends, live for the national Fox Weekend News, and taping a segment of Morning With The Arts for A & E. Henry performed with BB King at the 4th anniversary of BB's club in NYC, along with John Mayer.

Billboard Charts and more
"Henry's new CD Homeland", released on April 20th, has rocketed up the Billboard Blues Charts, clocking in at #10 "with a bullet" this week. Not surprising, on the heels of Henry's transcendent performances at French Quarter Festival, Jazz Fest and the W C Handy Awards. Henry also performed at the shoot of the concert film "Make It Funky" on April 27th at the historic Saenger Theater in New Orleans. The audience leapt to their feet as one as he finished his 2 solo numbers. Everyone agreed it was a highlight of the evening! Special guest artists on the bill included Keith Richards, Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Lang, Joss Stone, Earl Palmer and Lloyd Price. Check out some pictures from the evening in the new "photo album ".

W.C. Handy Nomination

The Blues Foundation has announced that Henry Bulter has been nominated for the fourth straight year for best Instrumentalist - Keyboards. Henry has been invited to perform with his band at the 25th annual W.C. Handy Awards to be held on April 29th in Memphis.

The New CD, Homeland, featuring more powerhouse piano playing and soulful vocals will be released on April 20th. There will be a big Basin Street Records CD release party at Tipitina's in the French Quarter on May 1st. This dynamic collection of funk-infused R&B with a dash of the blues is definitely something you'll want to bring home! Check back soon for downloads of sneak previews...

7/5/03 - Portland, OR - 16th Annual Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival

"Overall, it was a stellar, stellar year," said Lisa Wiebe, director of development at Oregon Food Bank, of which the festival is a major fundraiser. "The festival took off like a rocket with a record-breaking opening night and never leveled off. We thank generous blues fans for making this festival the most successful ever." Fans donated a record-breaking $363,000 and 120,000 pounds of food to the Oregon Food Bank."
